BIOGRAPHY
Kayla brings experience from both sides of the criminal bar, defence and prosecution; as such she possesses an additional layer of knowledge when it comes to defending individuals charged with criminal offences. Kayla is also an expert in Charter Rights arguments in appellate courts.
Kayla has always been passionate about remedying injustices and advocating on behalf of individuals whose rights have been compromised. Kayla has worked with Innocence McGill, a legal clinic dedicated to investigating claims of wrongful convictions and raising awareness about miscarriages of justice.

Kayla’s education and insight give her the ability to provide a thorough and well-rounded defence for any case.
Kayla obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in political science with a concentration in public affairs and policy analysis and a minor in French from Carleton University.
